The final Award Assembly took place on 28 November. Learners are awarded Bronze and Half Colours for sport, extra curricular and academic achievements.

Domino closed the term with the quarterly Award Assembly which took place on 20 September. Programme directors – Anele Ngcoya Noxolo Zikode managed the programme superbly. NCAYF
The NCAYF competition took place on 16 September. 85 entrants competed in the Poetry Speaking, Story Telling and Public Speaking categories. Mr Hugh Thompson from NCAYF adjudicated the entries. SACSSA National Athletics
The SACSSA National Athletics Meeting took place on 13&14 September in Pretoria. 11 DSS athletes competed in this competition against G7, Gauteng, Mpumalanga, Limpopo, Free State, Eastern Province, Western Province and Zimbabwe.
Umvoti Schools Junior Athletics
For the first time, DSS U8-U13 athletes took part in an athletics competition held between local schools on 7 September at Hermannsburg.
