The NCAYF competition took place on 16 September. 85 entrants competed in the Poetry Speaking, Story Telling and Public Speaking categories. Mr Hugh Thompson from NCAYF adjudicated the entries. As it is with public presentations, nerves can affect performances quite significantly! A number of learners chose to present their stories in IsiZulu but all poems were presented in English.
