Giving Back to the Community in Grade 10
6:00am on 10 March was the time set for the Grade 10 girls departure to their community service venue – Maqhogo, in the Tugela valley, a 90 minute drive from home.
1st & 2nd Netball & Soccer vs Lethuxolo
On 2 March the 1st and 2nd Netball and Soccer teams played against Lethuxolo.
Grade 10 Adventure Camp
On 3 March, bright and early, an excited bunch of Gr 10 girls waited in anticipation at the starting point, packed and ready to set out on the hour-long hike to their camping site, which was to be home for the next two days.
2nd Cricket vs Hermannsburg
On 1 February DSS 2nd Cricket team played against Hermannsburg. Home Game Format: 20 oversResult: DSS won by 8 wickets Hermannsburg scored 59 runs and DSS scored the winning runs with 8 wickets remaining. Prefects Weekend 2016
The DSS prefects and SMT spent a leadership weekend at Claridge, Pietermaritzburg, from 22 to 24 January.
