On 21 October, DSS celebrated World Earthworm Day, highlighting these vital decomposers. Earthworms enrich soil by turning organic matter into nutrients, improving fertility and structure. Their tunnels aerate and drain the earth, making them essential for healthy land.
KZNCSSA hosted the national x-country event at DSS on 2 August where 8 national regions competed. The weather was lovely, the runners enthusiastic and the competition, tough.
