DIABETES AWARENESS DAY

14 November is BLUE at DSS because aQuelle promotes diabetes awareness on that day. This year was bluer than ever! Emseni Farming and Bonle Dairy joined the awareness campaign to promote their healthy food products. Even though this day happened during the exams, I doubt it gave anyone the blues!

COUNTRY CHRISTMAS MARKET

The market was a true embodiment of a summer South African Christmas. We were blessed with absolutely wonderful weather which made the two market days enjoyable and successful. The closing assembly for Term 1 took place on 20 March. Head prefects, Joshua Combrink and Kwanele Hlophe ably managed the program for the occasion. They warmly welcomed the parents and visitors.
