DSS U10 played against Wartburg U10 at Wartburg on 4 March. Toss won by Wartburg and chose to bat. Wartburg scored 27 all out in 8 overs. Kyle Combrink took 4 wickets. DSS scored 28 runs for 3 wickets in 9 overs. DSS won by 7 wickets.

The 2nd team played a home match against Wembley on 29 Feb. We won the toss and opted to bowl. Wembley scored 164 runs in 20 overs losing 4 wickets. DSS scored 84 runs in 17 overs, all out. It was a tough match.Kai Vermaak
aQuelle Summer Series 5 took place at Msunduzi stadium in Pmb on 28 February. It was the final event. Athletes from 10 schools participated in the only relay event. The Gr10 learners visited Lake Eland game reserve in Oribi Gorge on the 26 & 27 February for a case study on biomes and ecosystems for Life Sciences . A number of animals were sighted and their habitats were studied. The highlight of the trip was the scary suspension bridge challenge.
