On 12 March the U13 cricket team played against Treverton. DSS won the toss and selected to bat, scoring 100 runs. Treverton could only score 60 runs in their 20 overs. DSS won by 40 runs.

The KZNCSSA mini cricket tournament took place on 8 March at the Hollywoodbets Kingsmead Cricket Stadium in Durban. DSS cricketers played two matches. In the match against Redwood College, DSS won by 67 runs and 3 wickets. In the match against Kainon Primary, Kainon won by 38 runs and 5 wickets.
The Gr10-12 learners played a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of various hospitality services during the KwaSizabantu Ministers Conference 3-6 March.
