A TRIBUTE TO HLENGIWE XABA
Hlengiwe has been a learner at DSS since 2010 when she joined the Grade 7 class. She was 16 years old and half way through her Grade 11 year when the Lord took her on 16 July 2015.
Her passing was unexpected, however, we see the Lord’s hand in everything that happened and are greatly comforted when we remember her life and walk with the Lord. Her commitment to serving Christ was the main factor that contributed to her blossoming, both academically and as a person. Looking back, we can clearly see how the Lord moulded her and prepared her for that great day.
Hlengiwe enjoyed school life and took part in the activities. She worked incredibly hard and kept her priorities right. Her warm and friendly, yet serious character made her a true asset to her class. She will be missed by all of us, but we are thankful for the many happy memories we have of her.
