On 24 June, our sports field was alive with laughter and excitement as we hosted a memorable Fun Day for our Grade RRR to 3 learners. With the cheerful theme of “Old MacDonald had a farm”, our little ones enjoyed a day full of farm fun on the sports grounds.
The area was transformed into a lively farmyard, complete with playful puppies, chirping chickens, and even a surprise visit from Bonnie the Cow. The day was packed with exciting activities which included an obstacle course, a gumboot race, bean shooting, a tricky maize challenge and a treasure hunt, to name but a few.
Adding to the charm of the day was a beautiful tea garden where parents could enjoy scrumptious farmy treats while watching their children play and explore. It was a true celebration of fun and friendship for our young learners.
