On Friday 22 March, the Grade 9 class visited the Holocaust Centre in Durban. It was both busy and informative. Through photographs, DVD material and other exhibitions the learners could experience the Holocaust n very real way. Learners were involved in discussions and activities. In addition they were taught about modern genocides. The McDonalds stop was another important visit that was made along the way. The day ended at Mitchell’s Park Zoo where the learners were exposed to a variety of animals some had never seen before.
