Parents’ meetings are not the most popular events on the calendar but this did not seem to have an effect on the number of parents who turned up for the AGM held on Saturday 9 February. The Principal addressed the issues of language and uniforms which required feedback and comments from the parent body. Member of the SGB, Mr Arno Stegen spoke about financial matters and the Chairman of the SGB, Mr Michael Ngubane addressed the parents on general issues. He reminded the parents about the origins of the school and the reasons why the school was established thereby reinforcing the commitment of DSS to uphold Christian education and values.
