The 11th was a typically blustery August day. By 8.30am a large crowd of parents had gathered in the school hall for a few last minute instructions. After a quick briefing, they dispersed into every corner of the school and before long the sounds of scrubbing, rubbing, hammering and digging were heard.
The clean-up day was hugely successful, showing how much we can depend on the support of our parent body. We are always acutely aware of this but somehow this year was an exceptional one that exceeded our expectations.
