We are happy for each of our matriculants who has worked hard and done us and their parents proud. We thank the staff, parents and community for supporting our learners and enabling them to achieve excellence. The 2025 candidates are a diverse class group representing several countries and language groups. Out of a class of 23 candidates with 231 symbols, there were 52 distinctions. Ludwig McGill and Sofie Schobben each achieved a full complement of distinctions; Annelle Jaeger and Caleb Schmunk each achieved 5 distinctions.
Teaching and learning at DSS fosters an academic culture that addresses and extends each learner’s unique needs and learning styles. Together with this the IEB provides a comprehensive and challenging evaluation of the curriculum, equipping our learners for success in tertiary education.
