The Midlands Cross Country Schools Challenge is a series of x-country running events held in KZN Midlands region, specifically for schools in that area. The events are part of the Midlands League, which features races at various venues across the region.
DSS x-country boys and girls took part in the series organised on 7 May at Treverton; 28 May at Grace College; on 4 June at Michaelhouse; 11 June at St Charles and on 18 June at St Anne’s. The St Anne’s event was a relay race where the senior and junior boys’ teams took first place.
The boys performed very well over 4 races. At the conclusion of the series, athletes were awarded for their overall performance.
