Term 3 Award Assembly concluded a rather hectic term on 2 October at 9h00.
Deputy Head prefect Gertjan Roos and Nontokozo Mchunu directed the proceedings. The Bible reading was done in English and IsiZulu by Grade 5 learners, Ria Combrink and Sphelele Dlomo. Music and singing abound at DSS and this assembly was no exception.
A parent, Mrs Husslig, handed out the large number of term awards. Learners achieved in a wide range of fields from sport to extracurricular activities and academic related events such as olympiads. Congratulations to each and every achiever!
