Petrus Fourie, Joseph Grobler and Iliya Matveyuk achieved first position at the Regional Bridge Building Competition with their bridge holding a weight of 216kg.
As a result the team qualified to compete at the SAICE AECOM International Bridge Building competition held at St Albans College on 30 August. The DSS team achieved 2nd position. Their bridge carried a weight of 198kg.
