The Senior Phase Open Evening took place on 8 September. The focus of the evening was subject choices for the Grade 9’s. Parents were introduced to the different subjects offered in the FET Phase at DSS. Particular mention was made of the differences between Mathematics and Mathematical Literacy.
After the opening session in the school hall, parents could spend the rest of the evening talking to teachers and viewing their children’s work.
