Grade 10 Boys Adventure Camp

Chicken legs and heads for lunch, spiders in bed, a cold ‘bath’ in the stream, PT at five in the morning…

These were some of the challenges that the Grade 10 boys faced during their annual adventure camp, on 2-4 March, held in a forest approximately five kilometres from school.

Despite these wild encounters, our two days removed from civilisation was fun in many ways. Groups of four competed in a number of thrilling activities ranging from rope walking over a valley of mud, stick throwing, bush basketball and night hide-and-seek.

Tired, and armed with newly learnt survival skills, everyone ‘enjoyed’ for the experience.
