The Open Evening for the Junior school took place on 12 May.
The school and classrooms are literally opened on the annual Open Evening held at school. Parents enter their child/ren’s world, sit on their chairs, talk to their teachers and browse through their books. In the quick group session before class visitation, parents were given some tips on how to teach their children time management skills. This is a vital life skill which parents can work into their children’s lives, teaching them how to manage their time and use the time they have effectively.
DSS parents are very supportive and turn out in their numbers on an evening like this. They also enjoyed a cup of tea or coffee with tasty edibles.
