The KZNCSSA Athletics Championships held at Msunduzi Stadium on 28 and 29 August saw 4 districts competing for the KZN trophy – South Durban, North Durban, North Coastal and Northern Natal. In the fast-moving, busy two days of competition, South Durban athletes proved their mettle by taking 1st position – 270 points ahead of Northern Natal, in 2nd position.
DSS athletes represented Northern Natal, proudly wearing yellow T-shirts. They delivered an outstanding performance, earning a total of 29 gold medals, 17 silver medals and 20 bronze medals. Congratulations to all our athletes and to Naomi du Toit for winning the Junior Girls 6-9 years Victrix Ludorum.
