On 13 May the Grade 8 visited Ntando ECD. It was an unforgettable experience. Pieter Greyling
When we arrived, we sang ‘Masidonse’ and recited two poems. The girls interacted with the children by playing outside with different equipment. The balls and donuts were a great attraction.
The boys worked in the garden and prepared the soil for cabbage, tomato, beetroot and onion seedlings. It was hard work, but also a lot of fun. One of the little ones helped with the planting.
Before we left, we ate a hearty meal that the staff prepared for us. The Baba at the creche was crying when we left and the children could not stop waving good-bye. It was an amazing day what we had together. The day went so fast and it was soon over. We cannot wait for the visit to our ECD. Iris Meyer
