On 8 February the 1st netball team played a pre-season friendly against Greytown High. It was a cracker of a game with both sides putting up a fight from the beginning. DSS narrowly led the first two quarters. However, the third quarter belonged to GHS. DSS delivered a comeback for the books in the final quarter, clinching a narrow one-point win in the end. The final score was 29-28 in favour of DSS.
