HISTORY & DAIRY FOR GRADE 9S

The first stop on the 14 September Grade 9 outing was the Kwa-Zulu Natal Museum in Pietermaritzburg. Learners were taken on an interesting tour and saw countless animal species including the Big Five, birds, butterflies and even dinosaurs. Interesting parts of South African heritage were also highlighted. The next stop was Wimpy where each learner could choose a delicious meal followed by the iconic Wimpy soft serve ice-cream. The final stop was Shandon Dairy Farm where we were shown the farm’s latest addition – a hotel for cows. It was a refreshing experience.
