The KZNCSSA Athletics Championships took place at the Pietermartizburg Umsunduzi Athletics Stadium on 2,3 September. DSS junior athletes participated in a local competition held at Greytown High on 26 August. 6 schools participated namely Cordwall, DSS, Greytown Primary, Indlovana, Tholinhlanhla and Kammaland. This is a first for this competition. DSS achieved 2nd position after Greytown Primary.
