The Christmas Market, 4 December, was a highlight on the calendar. Weeks of preparation resulted in a happy, busy, tasty, fun event…despite the heavy downpours towards the end of the day. The music was there, the musicians were there, samoosas and vetkoek were there, burgers and chips were there, aQuellé was there, sleigh rides were there, photographers were there and (almost) every Christmas gift you could imagine was also there.
