Dundee was the venue for the NKZNCSSA Athletics Meeting for junior athletes on 20 August.
A new record for the new event, Cricket ball, was set by Kai Vermaak for Boys 7. Seven other records were set at this meeting:
Boys 09 600m Alex Gideon took 2 seconds off the 2012 record and set a new record of 2:05.12.
In Boys 11 1200m Ruan Green set a record of 4:25.50. He took about 2 seconds off the record set in 2009.
Liezl Green took 15 seconds off the 2007 record to set a new record of 4:04.44 in Girls 12 1200m.
In Girls 13 800m Elsi Haux won with a time of 2:44.69 and Nadine Engelbrecht came 2nd with a time of 2:46.22. Both girls broke the 2007 record of 2:49.32
Elsi Haux and Nadine Engelbrecht both broke the Girls 13 1500m record. Elsi ran a time of 05:53.69 and Nadine, a time of 05:55,91. The 2009 record was 06:10.00.
