The National Creative Arts Youth Festival gives DSS learners a stage to say things with style.
On 3 September learners presented their well rehearsed poems and stories before Ms Selma Botha from the NCAYF. There were 21 Poetry Speaking entries of which 11 achieved A+ and A symbols. 8 learners entered the Story Telling category and 7 achieved A+ or A symbols. 7 learners entered the Public Speaking category of which 4 achieved A+ or A symbols. Ms Botha was impressed with the quality of the entries. Congratulations to all the speakers who spoke with such style.
