Girls Adventure Camp

On the weekend of 17 & 18 May the Grade 10 girls left for the annual Adventure Camp. After a brisk walk to the camp site, they set up camp in a forest. In between making fires, building shelters and organising their camp sites they also had to cook their first lunch over an open fire. This met with various degrees of success! In spite of the inclement weather the girls did not experience much cold because of their skill at building fires and weather-proof shelters. Although the camp was a lot of fun, the girls (and teachers!) were nevertheless glad to be back with a new appreciation for a hot shower and a warm, soft bed.
