If you're in Grade 9, making sense of the lab and everything therein is called scientific progress. I'm sure the scientific experience of these learners has been extended and improved since 6 August.
Some teachers have a special place in their learners' hearts and Miss Amanda Engelbrecht is one of them. She celebrated her birthday on 9 June in style with her Grade 7 & 8 class. Congratulations!
Now who would have thought that Grade 7 boys would be able to lay slabs? Well at DSS many things are possible! Between the chinwagging, resting, and the rest I'll leave up to your imagination, they did (with the help of their teacher) get the slabs laid on 2 April. Ten out of ten for the initiative, boys.
The ways and means of preserving food are taught during Grade 9 Technology lessons. Who knows when these skills may come in handy.
