Crocodile Creek was crawling with crocodiles! This was an outing never to be forgotten. On 27 November the Foundation Phase children visited Crocodile Creek. Sean taught them many things they did not know about crocodiles - their habitats, their characters, their uses and they also learned that their skins are not as rough and hard as they look, but are rather soft and rubbery. They could hold and feel a snake and, snakes alive, some teachers dared to drape the reptiles around their necks! They were treated to a delicious lunch at the creek before returning home.
Friday, 13 November was a day not to forget. Each learner brought a contribution from home to sell to the school and the community. It was the annual R1, R2 & R5 sale which the Foundation Phase has held for the last five years. Anything and everything goes... sweets, cakes, savouries, chips, popcorn, pencils, lucky packets, peacock feathers, jams...
